You’ve committed to reading aloud picture books every day of the school year, and now what? Get the most benefit from daily picture book read alouds through critical analysis & strategic selection of titles you share. Take the benefits gained from #classroombookaday to the next level by looking at the picture books you select with a critical and strategic eye toward positive representation, diversity, inclusiveness, and impact for the needs of your learners. Discussion will include specific strategies for critical analysis as well as considerations for strategically planning a year’s worth (or even just a week’s worth) of titles.
